It has been a long time since the NBA world has had an interaction with Michael Jordan. However, with the new season coming in, Jordan will once again be sharing his insights on all things NBA. Thanks to a deal with NBC, the legendary Bulls’ icon will be seen in action. And according to Paul Pierce, Jordan’s inclusion will be a massive deal for the NBA.

Pierce recently appeared on an episode of ‘Podcast P With Paul George.’ Speaking on the topic, the Celtics legend expressed significant excitement. He pointed out that with Jordan speaking, everybody else will have to sit back and listen. He also pointed out that other retired athletes will put forth their opinions only after hearing what Jordan has to say.

Everybody just gonna have to shut the hell up. It’s MJ. You’re seeing the GOAT, like, look, alright, I think the rest of the older players, the older than me, will follow in line,” Pierce stated.

Pierce further doubled down, saying that someone of Jordan’s calibre getting involved is surely a positive. Meanwhile, with a significant buzz surrounding Michael Jordan, here’s what we know about his NBC deal till now.

Back on May 12, NBC announced that Jordan will join the broadcast team. Ever since the announcement, there have been rumors on what his potential role could be. And as per speculations, Jordan won’t be commentating or analyzing the game. Rather, he is expected to appear in pre-recorded segments.

Another interesting part about the deal is his payout. If rumors are to be believed, Jordan might be pocketing a staggering $40 million. That is higher than Tom Brady’s deal with Fox Sports, which stands at $37.5 million. However, none of this is confirmed yet. Thus, with a lot of rumors going on, it remains to be seen what comes next.

The LSU star has herself revealed the reason for the unique dressing choice and it may surprise a lot of people.

I had surgery two years back on my shin. I have a rod in my leg… I cover the scar on one, and then the two players that I admire, Te’a Cooper and A’ja Wilson, also wear it, too. So it is swag. But I have used it to cover my scar,” said Angel Reese. She revealed that she had surgery on her leg and had a scar on it. She wears the leggings to hide that scar and at the same time as a swag fashion accessory.
